Resource Records welcomes back Derek Scott, also known as The Rhythmist, Boxbanga and 1/3 of the live techno trio Haptic Synapses, with his first release on the label in 20 years!! Fans of the label may remember the hard-swingin' jazzy vibes on his 'Sounds From The Bluelight District' EP, or his multiple appearances on the Silicon Sampler series - all fresh and uber-forward thinking tech!

According to D, 'Video games were the main influence for this release. Each track is directly related to some of my favorite games from the arcade and home consoles, specifically Gottlieb's Reactor, Taito's RayStorm (Sony PS1 version), and Sega's Space Harrier.'. Damn right they did, and we couldn't be happier about that! Massively quirky, bouncy and tracky techno, all day long!
